Applications are now open for the PBRI’s Ritman Scholarship until 15 March 2024. The scholarship will support students to attend the PBRI Symposium on 8 & 9 May 2024. The recipients will present a short presentation on their field of research and its importance to plant health.

In celebration of International Day of Plant Health this May, the Plant Biosecurity Research Initiative, Euphresco III Network, and CIHEAM Bari have launched the 3rd edition of their Plant Health TV video contest.

We'll learn some writing tips and tricks, and practise them in a 45 min session dedicated to getting your own writing done. Whether you're drafting a scientific paper, a conference abstract, or that important email - this one's for you!

To raise awareness of the 2023 International Day of Plant Health, the PBRI (including the PHSN) collaborated with the CIHEAM in Bari, Italy and Euphresco to support the 2023 video contest ‘Plant Health TV’: promoting the importance of plant health research.

In May 2022, the PBRI awarded the Ritman Scholarship to four outstanding PhD students, to commemorate Dr Kim Ritman, a foundation member of the PBRI. The recipients were Rebecca Degnan (UQ), Bianca Rodrigues Jardim (LTU), Fable Eenjes (ANU) and Salome Wilson (ANU).
